Why Ozone Treatment?

Molecular Destruction

Ozone breaks down odor-causing molecules at the source, not just masking them.

Eliminates Smoke

Completely removes cigarette, cigar, and wildfire smoke odors.

Pet Odor Removal

Destroys pet urine, dander, and other organic odors permanently.

How Ozone Treatment Actually Works

Ozone is an unstable oxygen molecule (O3) that reacts with and breaks down the organic compounds that cause odor — it doesn't cover the smell, it destroys the molecules producing it. Our generator fills the cabin and runs the gas through the HVAC system as well, since odor gets trapped in vents and cabin air filters just as often as it does in fabric and carpet. That's the main reason air fresheners and fogging sprays fail on stubborn odors: they treat the surfaces you can see and skip the ductwork the smell keeps recirculating through.

Southwest Florida's humidity makes this worse than in drier climates — trapped moisture in carpet and seat foam feeds mildew growth, which is one of the toughest odors to fully eliminate with anything short of ozone. The vehicle sits sealed and unoccupied during treatment, then airs out for a short period afterward before it's safe to drive — no residue, no fragrance, just air that no longer carries the smell. More on why humidity makes this worse here specifically.

Our Process

01

Prep the Cabin

Trash removed and loose debris vacuumed so the ozone can reach every surface, not just what's on top.

02

Ozone Cycle

The vehicle is sealed and unoccupied while our generator runs ozone through the cabin and HVAC system.

03

Air Out & Inspect

The vehicle ventilates before handoff, and we confirm the odor is actually gone, not just masked.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ozone treatment safe for my vehicle?

Yes — it's applied while the vehicle is unoccupied, with no people or pets inside during treatment. Once the cycle finishes and the vehicle airs out briefly, it's completely safe to use.

How is this different from an air freshener or odor spray?

Sprays and fresheners cover odor with a stronger scent. Ozone actually breaks down the odor-causing molecules themselves, including deep in fabric and the HVAC system, so the smell doesn't come back once it airs out through the vents.

Will this work on strong smoke or mildew smell?

Ozone is one of the most effective treatments available for smoke and mildew specifically, since it reaches into fabric and vents that surface cleaning can't. For heavy odor cases, we sometimes recommend pairing it with a steam clean/extraction service for the best result.

How long does the treatment take?

1-2 hours depending on vehicle size and odor severity.
